The Goals of AFMAN Association

Below are the main goals of The Aviation Fuel Marketers Association of Nigeria (AFMAN)

  1. Establish and maintain professional excellence: To maintain and improve the standards of professional skill, care, and conduct among the members of AFMAN in the aviation fuel sector.
  2. Public relations: To promote good relations and transparency between the association and its stakeholders and organize public relations activities that benefits the members of the association and the general public.
  3. Continual improvement: To continuously improve the efficiency of members of the association by providing them with relevant advice, information and services that is relevant to the aviation fuel sector.
  4. Public representation: To provided a unified and representative voice for all members of the association and ensure that their views and opinion are represented to the general public, stakeholders and the government.
  5. Member Benefits: To provide service and assistance to members of the association towards their professional development and access to relevant resources that further their businesses and expertise.
  6. Environmental standards and safety: To establish and support arrangements of facilities for the production, welfare, community and environment of the aviation fuel sector, in coordination with the regulatory authorities and adopting industry leading safety standards.
  7. Collaboration with relevant organizations: To serve as a collective platform that fosters collaboration and networking amongst members of the association locally and internationally, with relevant industry associations and organizations and regulatory authorities.
  8. Exhibition and Conferences: To initiate, host or participate in exhibitions, display, conferences, and other similar events that aim to promote the aviation fuel sector in Nigeria and increase the visibility of the association globally.
  9. Advocacy and stakeholder engagement: To engage with government, regulators and other stakeholders to promote the objectives and interests of the members of the association and work towards improving the policy and decision-making practices in the aviation fuel sector in Nigeria.
  10. Trust initiatives: To establish trusts that further the objectives of the association and receive donations or bequests that aim at enhancing the capacity and influence of the association in the aviation fuel sector.
  11. Objective fulfilment: To conduct every action or duty that is incidental or conducive to achieving the above objectives making sure professionalism and advocacy collide for the benefit of all members across Nigeria.
